Connected by heart. Inspired by nature.
Editorial + Packaging

This book was conceived as an intimate, tactile introduction to Herdade da Malhadinha Nova, designed to evoke an experience rather than simply present a destination. The editorial concept reflects the individuality of the five accommodation units through a cohesive narrative where privacy, exclusivity and luxury are naturally embedded in a rural context. The book prioritizes atmosphere, rhythm and detail, mirroring the slow, contemplative pace of Alentejo. Textures, light and materiality become central storytelling elements, expressing a form of luxury rooted in simplicity and connection to place.
Material choices play a fundamental role in the project. The cover, produced on a rough terracotta-toned paper from Gmund, along with fore edges painted in the same tone, directly reference the land and architecture of the region. The book is housed in a custom box made from paper embedded with terracotta-colored particles, extending the sensory narrative beyond the pages. Guided by sustainable practices, all materials were selected for responsible sourcing, durability and minimal environmental impact. More than a presentation piece, the book acts as a bridge between landscape, architecture and hospitality, inviting the reader to slow down and connect with a quietly understated form of luxury.
